A Tradition for over 30 Years

We have used the Red Plate in our family for 30 years. Our kids all loved it and would remind me if I forgot to put it out. After my kids were grown and moved away, I found another use for the plate: I invited each of my Sunday School kids - and their families - over for a meal with me and my husband. Each time, I would use the Red Plate for my student - as the guest of honor. I also would ask the student questions of all her/his favorite things. They felt so special and would go back to class the next week and tell the other students about it!
