Returning Home From the War

We use the Red Plate for every possible celebration! We have used it for birthdays, first day of school, 1000 day birthdays, being 100% potty trained, our children asking Jesus into their hearts, riding bikes for the first time without training wheels, anniversaries, etc.

But our favorite was just last month. My husband was deployed over to the Middle East, and had a heart attack. After spending a few weeks in the hospital in Germany, I was able to airlift home with him. What a remarkable time to was to arrive home at dinnertime, on Christmas Eve!! The Red Plate has never had such a special meaning as it did that night as our four young children rejoiced over Daddy returning home from the war!!
